Menstrual cycle
Kaal is the Lord, kaal is the self-existent (self-born). It has no beginning, middle and end. Life and death, the good and bad qualities of the material world, etc., depend on kaal. The name kaal is given to the fact that the movement of time does not stop for a single muhurabha, nor does it affect everyone. According to the movement of Lord Sun, the said time is divided into Palaka, Tharu, Kala, Muhurta, Ahoratra, Palkha, Month, Puja, Ayan, Sambashira and Yuga. The time taken to pronounce the letter ‘A’ etc. is called Palaka. One Tharu in fifteen palakas; one Kala in twenty palakas; one Muhura in twenty palakas and three palakas; one Ahoratra (one day and one night) in thirty muhurabha; one Palkha in fifteen Ahoratra; it is of two types, Shukla and Krishna Palkha. Two Palkhas taken together make a month, starting from Magha and one year in twelve months. It is composed of six seasons and each season lasts for two months. Their names are Shishir, Basant, Samhat, Raina, Sharat and Hemanta. Magha, Phalguna Shishir; Chaitra, Baisakh, Basant; Zardari, Asadha Samhat; Shravan, Bhadra Raina; Ashwin, Karvik Sharat; Margashir, Pausha Hemanta; In these six seasons, winter, summer and rain are especially observed. According to the movement of the moon and the sun, there are two ayanas in the year, named Sukkayan and Uttarayan. Out of them, Raina, Sharat and Hemanta, these three seasons are Sukkayan, at this time the power of Lord Moon increases, as a result, sour, salty and sweet juices become stronger and gradually the strength of living beings increases.
Shishir, Basant and Samhat, these three seasons are Uttarayan, at this time the brilliance of Lord Sun increases, as a result, bitter, astringent and bitter juices become stronger and gradually the strength of living beings decreases
The moon keeps the earth moist and the sun absorbs it. The wind nourishes the people by sheltering them both.
Kalachakra - A year occurs in two ayans. A yuga occurs in five years. This period from Nimesh to Yuga is called Kalachakra because it revolves like a wheel.
Due to the accumulation, outbreak and release of the elements - In Ayurveda, due to the accumulation, outbreak and release of the elements (vaat, pitta, kapha), six seasons have been divided into rain, autumn, winter, spring, summer and summer. These seasons are divided into two months starting from Bhadra, namely - Bhadra Ashwin - rain; Kartik Margshir - autumn; Pausha Magha - winter; Phalgun Chaitra - spring; Baisakh Zargita - summer; Asadha Shravan-Pravruti (Early Rain)
During the rainy season, the herbs are young and have few seeds. All the water becomes muddy and dirty. At this time, the sky is cloudy and it rains, so the roads become muddy. Due to this, the body of the people remains cold. The stomach fire is weakened due to the cold wind. As a result, all the food and drinks become acidic and bile accumulates. In the autumn season, due to the lack of clouds in the sky, all the roads dry up. Due to the strong sunlight, that weak bile melts and causes diseases.
In the autumn season, the herbs become bitter and sour over time. The water also becomes clear, thick and very heavy. The body becomes weak because the sun is not hot and the wind is cool. As a result, due to the smoothness, coldness, heaviness and phlegm (astringent quality) of the food, Kapha accumulates. In the spring season, that thick phlegm melts due to sunlight, causing phlegm diseases in people with mild deficiency.
In the summer season, the food becomes very light, insipid and astringent. The body dries out due to the harsh rays of the sun, so the consumption of such food causes accumulation of Vayu due to its coarseness, lightness and phlegm (not astringent quality). In the summer season (Asadha Shravan), since the ground is moist and the body is cold, that condition is aggravated by wind, cold winds and rain, causing Vayu diseases.
Thus the accumulation and outbreak of faults were explained. The faults that are true in the rain, winter and summer seasons and aggravated in the autumn, spring and summer seasons will be cured by the five actions (by Vamanavirechanadi).
In the winter of the year, the diseases of the body are cured automatically, in the summer of the summer of the summer, and in the autumn of the winter of the winter. Thus the accumulation, outbreak and outbreak of faults were explained. In this order, the signs of a year are also seen in one hour and night, for example, in the first part of the day the signs of spring, in the middle of the day the signs of summer, in the end the signs of Prabruta and in the first part of the night the signs of rain, in the middle of the night the signs of autumn and in the end the winter. Due to such accumulation, outbreak and outbreak of faults, one hour and night will also be known as a year of winter, summer and rain.
When the signs of the seasons are properly manifested, the quality of the climate and food products remains intact (imperfect). By it, the soul, wind, strength, semen and energy of the people are developed. The variation of the seasons (bilakshanta) occurs due to the unwholesome faults (dharma-dharma) of the people. Medicines and water are contaminated due to the disasters of sun, rain, cold and wind. Due to that contaminated air and medicines, various diseases and plagues spread in the country. At that time, the use of flawless medicines and water is necessary, but sometimes, despite the unwholesomeness and non-bilakshanta of the seasons, many villages and towns are destroyed due to deeds (e.g., grinding beer), curses, the wrath of demons and mischief. Often, in a country where poisonous winds and poisonous flower fragrances prevail, people are afflicted with cough, shortness of breath, vomiting, cold, headache and fever, regardless of their nature (gout, bile, phlegm etc.). Or if the eyes of Mars, Saturn, etc., fall on the country, or if the house, wife, bed, seat, vehicle, vehicle, stone, gem and other equipment are damaged, the people's status is destroyed.
In such a situation, it is necessary to abandon the place, perform peacemaking, atonement, conduct good deeds, chant, burnt offering, sacrifice, sacrifice, supplication, bowing down, penance, rules (obedience to the Lord), kindness, charity, taking initiation, following the Guru's words, and showing devotion to the gods, Brahmins and Guru.
Then the symptoms of the unpolluted seasons are described in detail
In the autumn season, cold winds blow from the north, generally appearing smoky and dusty in all directions. The sun is not visible in the mist. The water of the pond becomes as cold as ice. The cows, rhinos, buffaloes, sheep and elephants become intoxicated. Flowers bloom on the lodha, priyangu and pulang trees.
In the winter season - the cold is more severe than in the autumn season. All directions are covered with windy rain. Other symptoms appear as in the autumn season.
In the spring season - the south wind blows from the sandalwood forest fragrant Malaya mountains, increasing the joy of the couples and breaking the hearts of the couples due to lovemaking. The four directions appear adorned and pure with the flower beds covered with new leaves. Flowers bloom on the palas, padmas, banyan, mango and ashoka trees. The forest is illuminated by the hum of the sea and the chirping of the cuckoo.
In the summer season, the sun's rays are intense. An unpleasant wind blows from the north. The earth is hot and the banks of the rivers are thin. The rain flows from all directions. The birds and animals of the cycle are confused due to lack of water. The grass, grass and creepers dry up and become leafless in the heat.
In the spring season, attracted by the west wind, clouds cover the sky with loud roars and flashes of lightning. The earth is filled with tender grains and adorned with butterflies. The flowers of the kadamba, keli kadamba, patra koruan, sal and some other trees bloom.
In the rainy season, the big trees on the banks are uprooted due to the erosion and eating away of the shore. The white and blue lotus flowers bloom, making the ponds look very beautiful. The earth becomes waterlogged and crops are abundant. The clouds cover the sun and stars in the sky and rain falls with a slight roar.
In the autumn season, the sky is covered with clear and white clouds. The sun's rays are seen in the form of tinges and rays of the sun. The lakes are adorned with lotuses spread by the wings of swans. Also, at this time, the lower parts of the earth are muddy, the higher ones are dry and the flat lands are covered with trees. The Nile flower, Daskarenta, Chhatiana, Sattaghdia, Kainsha and Asana trees are abundant.
When the symptoms of the seasons are seen in excess or in less quantity or in the opposite way, the people's breath, bile and phlegm are irritated. Therefore, before the disease arises and grows, one should remove the sela (by vomiting) in the spring, the bile (by defecation) in the autumn, and the air (by friendly actions) in the rains.
